About

Who I help, what I’m building, and why this public operating log exists.

Short version

I’m Diego Landa, a software engineer and engineering leader building product-led businesses in public. I help founders and technical teams turn ambiguous product, AI, and systems problems into working software, sharper context, and repeatable operating loops.

Work with me

The best fit is early product engineering, AI-assisted product development, technical strategy, internal tools, and systems that turn expert knowledge into useful software or public context. If you are trying to ship a product, clarify a technical bet, or build an AI-enabled workflow without losing engineering judgment, email diego@reboot.md.

What I’m doing now

I am moving from selling time toward building software assets, reusable systems, audiences, and product-led businesses. The main active bet is SourceLink.pro, supported by Creator Copilot, Economics for Builders, and agentic engineering workflows.

Why reboot.md exists

This site is a public operating log. It keeps a chronological record of bets, tradeoffs, product decisions, notes, and learning. It is also designed as a machine-readable knowledge base for future readers, collaborators, and AI agents.

Professional background

My background is software engineering and engineering leadership. I care about building reliable systems, shipping pragmatic software, improving engineering judgment, and translating technical work into business value.

What I’m building

SourceLink.pro explores professional identity for the AI era. Creator Copilot turns rough founder notes into consistent public content. Economics for Builders is my learning path through markets, pricing, incentives, and fintech. Agentic Workflows captures how I use AI coding agents without outsourcing judgment.

What I believe

Good engineering matters, but good code does not guarantee a good business. Distribution, positioning, economics, customer trust, and timing have to be learned with the same seriousness as architecture.

What I’m learning

I am studying pricing, market structure, product distribution, AI-native workflows, founder-led publishing, and the mechanics of building durable software assets.

How I work

I prefer written context, small loops, explicit tradeoffs, source-controlled content, simple systems, and visible provenance. I use AI tools heavily, but the human responsibility for taste, judgment, and final edits stays with me.

Technical stack

reboot.md is a Vercel-hosted Next.js App Router site using TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Markdown content files, static generation, RSS, JSON Feed, llms.txt, and public JSON endpoints.

Topics I write about

Engineering independence, product-led business, SourceLink, creator systems, economics for builders, AI workflows, consulting leverage, engineering leadership, writing systems, and machine-readable publishing.

Open questions

Which product bet compounds first? How should professional identity work when AI agents are readers? What should a public archive expose to machines? How can consulting insight fund product work without consuming all attention?
